The Second Annual Human Rights Walkathon took place on March 1, 2008 in North Straub Park in St Petersburg, Florida. It's aim: to raise awareness about basic human rights (contained in the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights) including human trafficking (modern day slavery). Two major organizations hosted this year's event: Youth for Human Rights International and the Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking (FCAHT).
